Overview
I Carry You with Me is a drama film that has ties to a real-life love story. Ivan Garcia is a resident of Mexico working towards becoming a cook. A trip to a gay bar in Puebla allows Garcia to meet Gerardo, but his fear of coming out stops the relationship from progressing. When he has the opportunity to move to New York to become a chef, he seizes it but suffers emotionally from the ostracization of not only leaving his son behind but also the potential bond he could have formed with Gerardo.
