Overview
Wyoming 1963, two young men are thrust together as ranch hands in the desolate landscape of the Rocky Mountains. This separation from modern amenities and people causes a bond to form between these two men, which at first neither is quite comfortable with. One night after drinking whiskey and sharing stories around the campfire, the men decide to abandon the night watchmen position and sleep together in the tent so that neither is left out in the cold, even though such an act is prohibited by their employer, and an erotic encounter takes place. This relationship turns sour after each is married and now domesticated yet they can’t stop thinking about each other. Thus begins a tragic tale about forbidden romance, bigotry, and the perseverance of love.
