Overview
This homage to American journalism tells the tale of a Kansas-based newspaper, located in the fictional French outpost of Ennui-sur-Blase, as it attempts to release its final issue of The French Dispatch. Told in three separate storylines, it weaves between the life of an art dealer, the labor protests of May 1968, and the creator of the magazine in which the film gets its title. It is a portrait of the writer's spirit in constant pursuit of his own voice despite the sea of content seeking ratings above all else.
