Overview
The Last Champion is a sports drama revolving around a former amateur wrestler facing his past. John Wright has enough skill on the mat to be considered an Olympic hopeful. However, he becomes involved in a situation that ultimately destroys his reputation, forcing him into exile. John's mother passes away two decades later and he returns to manage her affairs. While not receiving the warmest of welcomes, he gets a chance to redeem himself as the new high school wrestling coach. Taking a talented boy under his wing, John struggles with his rough past to lead the team to victory.
