Overview
Fire in the Sky is based on the true story of Travis Walton as told in his book, The Walton Experience. Walton is an American logger who allegedly has an encounter with a UFO on his way to work in Arizona. He and his co-workers stop at the scene and Walton is abducted by the unidentified flying object through a beam of light. The loggers return to town and increasing tension and drama ensues as the town develops mistrust in Walton’s disappearance and his co-workers’ stories. Eventually, Walton is returned to town and he is found confused and very ill. He hallucinates, has small recollections of his abduction, and his life is forever changed.
