Overview
A mother and her daughter, Mathilde, must take a train to school when the mother's car breaks down and Mathilde's bike is stolen. Tragedy strikes when a train crash kills Mathilde's mother. Mathilde's father returns from overseas military service to take care of his daughter. The father-daughter relationship soon becomes strained as they struggle to cope with the death of the beloved mother and wife. But life is about to take a strange twist when they meet mathematics genius Otto who says he can prove that the train crash was no accident but a revenge plot.
