The re-imagined story of a wild horse that was captured and pulled away from her family to be taken to an equestrian center known as Birtwick Stables. After arriving at the stables, she meets an orphaned teenage girl named Jo, who she forms a strong and lasting bond with as they both try to work through their challenges together while also going on fun adventures. Named Black Beauty, the horse finds comfort in being with Jo, because she seems to be the only human who really understands what she has been through, and how she feels to have lost her ability to run about freely, as she did before being captured. |
