David Greenhill is a suave ladies man accused of murdering his wife. He hires Jennifer Gaines, a Chicago attorney, after watching her win a big case. She doesn't want to work for him at first, but her intrigue gets the best of her and she winds up taking his case. Greenhill begins stalking her and his behavior becomes erratic as he refuses to pay his bill. Gaines wants to drop the case but a judge prevents her. The case ends in a mistrial and Greenhill then admits to Gaines that he did kill his wife. He decides to kill Gaines as well in order to keep her from revealing everything. He tracks her to her apartment and they wind up falling off a balcony. However, Gaines is cushioned by Greenhill's body and winds up surviving. |
