After a youth and aspiring magician, Theo Moses, loses his father, he has difficulty coping with the death. His father had been the biggest supporter of his magic dreams.
When his mother tells him out of the blue that the eccentric magician Roy Preston, who runs the Institute of Magic, has accepted him for a summer camp, Theo believes that his father must have sent in the video application.
Preston has hired two magicians to serve as camp counselors. The first counselor is a successful Las Vegas strip magician named Kristina Darkwood. The second counselor is a former student, Andy Tuckerman, who hasn't been doing so well in life and has a grudge against Darkwood.
As Theo and the counselors cross paths, they all soon learn that Preston brought them together for a reason. |
