Overview
Sexually molested as a child by a country priest, Malcolm is now an adult with serious mental issues brought on by his rape as a 12-year-old boy. He abuses himself daily in a grotesque sexual manner and engages in unhealthy relations with other adults. Malcolm is also a man of hair-trigger violence that he inflicts upon anyone who sets him off. Malcolm's day job is demolishing old churches, providing an underlying religious allegory that invokes the suffering of Christ. He is a man seeking salvation from his own nightmarish memories, but he may be trying in all the wrong ways.
