Overview
A while back, Sergeant Joanne Sharp returned to her isolated Australian small town near the desert to help her sister Samantha. Now, she's preparing to return to the city. After a meteorite flashes through the night sky, Jo awakes the following day to a local's demand that she explore the crash site and sudden problems throughout the township: Technologies fail. Friends and neighbors become violent and super strong. Jo quickly learns that the meteorite was an alien spaceship that released a terrible parasite into the world that attacks the brain of all living creatures. She must try to find a way to stop the nightmare before it spreads beyond the desert dust to the rest of the world...
