Overview
Hanzo Hasashi, the grandmaster of the Shirai Ryu, returns home to find his family, including his wife, slaughtered by a rival clan. After taking revenge on the Lin Kuei soldiers who killed his family, Sub-Zero appears and kills Hasashi's son and dispatches Hasashi to the Netherrealm. A sorcerer resurrects Hanzo Hasashi, convincing him to enter the Mortal Kombat tournament as Scorpion, allowing Hasashi a chance to take revenge on Sub-Zero. Can Scorpion take revenge on those who destroyed his family? Or will Sub-Zero again triumph over Hasashi?
