Overview
Alex's boyfriend, Nathan, invites her to a 36-hour, immersive horror event known as Slasher Sleepout: The Ultimate Horror Movie Experience. The event allows six participants per group to experience a wide range of horror movie tropes in camping, escape room and haunted house settings. Alex doesn't watch horror movies. She has already experienced enough real horror in her life. Yet, as a supportive girlfriend, she agrees to go with Nathan. Each part of the event involves isolated locations and horror-filled mysteries and surprises. At first, everyone except Alex is laughing and enjoying the experience. When one camper turns up dead and then another, the laughter stops. To survive, Alex must determine what is real and what is merely tricks from her own mind.
