Overview
Kayla, a teen living in a small town, one day notices that her father isn't acting like himself. She tells her two best friends Zach and Randy. They tell Kayla that they've also noticed people acting strangely. The trio have been working on a web series about the town and decide to investigate and record whatever they find. At first, they think the townspeople are experiencing mass hysteria, but then they learn the horrific truth: Something inhuman is taking over the town. It bites people, copies and kills them and then takes over their identities. Fearful that they're in the middle of an alien invasion, the teens decide to expose the truth to the world by uploading their film to the internet. The problem is that they have to escape the town and its monsters first.
