| Overview
When Marla was eighteen, she dreamed of traveling around the world. This dream was shattered, along with her ability to have any fun, after her parents died and she became the guardian of her six-year-old brother Charlie.
Four years later, a 10-year-old Charlie often complains about how much his twenty-one-year-old sister has changed into a more boring, structured adult. Frustrated with Marla, Charlie leaves home without permission to visit a large toy fair.
After Marla catches up with him, they're both magically transported into a new world filled with realms based on Playmobil toys.
Charlie becomes viking known as Charles the Destroyer, but he taken Emperor Maximus' henchman to fight in the colosseum.
Upon her arrival, Marla simply looks like a normal human-like toy. When she can't find Charlie, she sets out on a quest to save him.
Marla must face off against cowboys, soldiers, fantasy figures, pirates, cavemen and even dinosaurs. Along the way, she makes friends with various characters who promise to help her, including Del the food truck driver and handsome, secret agent Rex Dasher. |
