Elle Evans and Lee Flynn have been best friends since childhood. To keep their friendship strong, the pair creates a set of rules to follow, including a rule about not going out with relatives from each other's families. When Elle and Lee create a kissing booth as part of a school event, Elle inadvertently breaks this rule and begins dating Lee's brother, Noah, behind Lee's back.
