Two eight-year-old best buddies, Ben and Larry, make a bet about whose father would win in a fist fight. The boys aren't serious, but when Ben's not-too-bright father, Wayne, hears that the boys think Larry's meek father, Mardy, would win, he takes offense to the assertion and challenges Mardy to a fist fight. Things go quickly from bad to worse as jobs are lost, relationships with other people in their lives are destroyed and both fathers find themselves in awkward situations, both with their children and with each other. |
