Overview
The outback of the Northern Territory in Australia is a rough and unforgiving landscape. Its inhabitants must navigate both rugged terrain and racial tensions. It is against this backdrop that an Aboriginal man named Sam kills Harry, his white employer, in self-defense. Sam flees the scene with his wife after the murder. He is then hunted by a group of men led by Sergeant Fletcher. Over the course of the manhunt, the Sergeant and his men begin to realize that the murder may not have been as straight forward as it appeared.
