Overview
Charles is a British man who always seems to be unlucky in love. He is surrounded by friends who are equally unfortunate in their love lives. The only exception is their gay friends Matt and Gareth who are happily in love with each other. Charles goes to a wedding of his good friends Laura and Angus. While at the wedding, he meets Carrie, a woman from America. They both fall for each other instantly, and they have a very passionate night together. However, they do not pursue things the next day. As time goes by, Carrie and Charles keep bumping into each other at weddings and a funeral. Things always seem to conspire to keep them from getting together. Charles thinks he may have to settle for an old girlfriend who he isn’t really in love with, but his heart still yearns for Carrie.
