Overview
Roddy has always had it nice; his owners live a somewhat wealthy lifestyle and he soaks up the attention and easy living all from the comfort of his cage. His happy life is soon shattered when Sid, a scruffy sewer rat finds his way into Roddy’s flat and decides that the posh life is for him. After trying to trick Sid into getting flushed down the toilet, his plan backfires and he finds himself hurling through the whirlpool into a world he never dreamed existed. As Roddy tries to figure out how to handle life in Ratropolis, he meets Rita, who will bring him back to the surface, assuming Roddy can pay the price. Along the way, they cross the monstrous Toad, whose only goal is to rid the streets of all rodents, including Roddy. As Roddy’s quest to find his old life again continues, he finds himself constantly being stocked by Spike and Whitey, Toads “hench-rats”, and eventually is faced with the ultimate villain; Toad’s French cousin, Le Frog.
