Overview
Indochina in 1959 is a cesspool of corruption, with warlords and exiled criminals all fighting for their piece of the pie. At a prison with the worst conditions in the country, one man struggles to find peace and redemption. A retired boxer finds himself stepping back into the ring-in prison. Eventually, his exploits become so well-known that wealthy men in the area begin to bet on his matches. And suddenly he's worth more in prison than he is on the outside. Will he ever escape the shackles that seem destined to hold him down?
