The feminist biopic, Dr. Marston and the Wonder Women is loosely-based on the life of psychologist and Wonder Woman comic creator William Mouton Marston. The movie explores the three-way domestic relationship between Moulton and his wife, Elizabeth, and his grad student, Doris. Both Moulton and his wife, also a psychiatrist, are forward thinkers well beyond their time (late 1920s). The highly-successful Wonder Woman comics, also displaying a good amount of feminism, mirrors the threesome's real-life situation.
