Overview
After an EPA agent dies mysteriously while inspecting mines in the Appalachians, Jack Taggert is sent to investigate. He soon uncovers a deep web of conspiracy within the little community, all centering around Orin Hanner, a wealthy mining magnate who is dumping toxic waste in disused coal mines around the town. With opposition surrounding him on all sides, Taggert must find the evidence to convict Hanner and avoid the murderous mogul's one goal: to silence him forever.
