Overview
Dr. Barr, a psychiatrist finds love in all the wrong places when he falls for the sister of a patient, who happens to be married to a member of the Greek mafia. The mobster’s overzealous jealousy and cruelty towards his wife leads Barr to convince the woman to file for divorce. But her fear of what her husband might do leads her to drink and an underlying medical condition causes her to launch an attack on her husband. Using his professional knowledge, Barr comes to her aid and tries to save her from facing the consequences, but he soon finds out, all may not be what he thinks; and he finds himself wondering whether or not he is fighting on the right side.
