When he was just a child, James lost his ability to see. Despite this, he has built a happy life with his wife Sam and their son Jonah. Then one day, he makes a miraculous discovery. The tumor that was pressing against his optic nerve has shrunk, and now he can see again. At first, he is overjoyed, but the focus of his life begins to take a destructive turn. Restored to physical sight, he becomes spiritually blind as the search for material success consumes him. Could it be that he would have been better off if he'd remained blind?
