Overview
Ines, an ambitious young woman, is trying to make a name for herself in the cutthroat world of business consulting. But when her prankster father, Winfried, shows up at her work to rekindle their relationship, things fall apart quickly. Stressed out from her attempts to secure the business of Mr. Henneberg, a CEO of a German oil company, Ines shuns her father. Enter Winfried's alter ego, Toni Erdmann, who quickly wins the favor of Mr. Henneberg with his funky wig and false teeth. As Mr. Henneberg's new life coach, Toni Erdmann tries to fix his relationship with his estranged daughter.
