Overview
All William Foster wants to do is get to his daughter on her birthday. Everything seemingly comes to a head for the unemployed divorcee when he gets stuck in gridlock in L.A. traffic. He suffers a break of sorts, abandons his car, and begins to walk to her party. He comes across a rude Korean Shopkeeper and destroys his market with a baseball bat. Next, he travels into gangland where he fights gang members and wins. He ends up with their car and their guns and continues to head to the party. However, retiring Detective Pendergast is close on his heels and meets up with Foster in Venice, the site of the birthday party.
