Overview
Wok struggles to make money on the streets of Bangkok. Turning to begging to survive, he does so with his young elephant Nong Mai. While begging on the street is illegal, he finds himself with nowhere else to go, putting himself and the already endangered elephant in even more danger. The poaching and trade that endanger elephants provide the backdrop to Wok's life, until the time comes for Nong Mai to return to the wild.
