Looking down on mankind from their home high above the ground in Care-a-Lot, the Care Bears find a troubled young magician's apprentice, Nicholas. Nicholas is under-appreciated and hasn't a friend in the world. When he falls under the control of an evil spirit, he seeks to rid the world of good feelings. Meanwhile, the Care Bears enlist the help of a brother and sister who have problems of their own. They have lost faith in people completely.
