Overview
Eschewing the traditional biopic trappings in true Miles Davis style, the films follows the legendary jazz trumpeter during the 1970's, now a drug addled recluse in Los Angeles. An attempt to recover his latest recordings from greedy label owners leads Davis and reporter Dave Braden on a wild chase through the city. As the situation escalates out of control, Braden begins to doubt Davis' sanity and his own commitment to the story.
