Overview
A Philosophy professor named Walter Zarrow is one of the main characters. Someone tries to mug Walter and he gets injured in the process. Walter tries to flee and he accidentally sets off an alarm. Another character, Sam, is woken up by the commotion. Zarrow speaks with Sam and he passes out. In short, a drug addict named Joe, Sam, Zarrow, and the man who mugged Zarrow go on an adventure to New York City. There, they impact many people, some of which are an alcoholic mother, a troubled teen influenced by marijuana, a former writer, parents of terminally ill children, and a grad student.
