Santa Claus is nearing the end of his reign, and if he cannot find someone to replace him, the yearly voyage in a sleigh that brings so much joy to the children of the world will end forever. As unlikely an assistant as he is, Ernest P. Worrell is the one who ends up helping Santa in his search. Ernest is a very good-hearted man, but he is simple-minded and clumsy, and disaster has a way of following him wherever he goes. Santa Claus has his hands full with Ernest on his team, but this ordinary Joe might just have the insight that is needed to select the next jolly old elf. If he succeeds in this mission, children will be forever grateful to him. |
