Overview
In this romantic crime thriller, "Gin" is an insurance investigator, and "Mac" is a well-respected international art thief. Gin is sent to investigate him after a priceless painting is elaborately but elegantly stolen from a New York skyscraper. By pretending she is also an art thief, she offers to aid him on a job. They successfully steal a rare Chinese Mask, and Gin pitches a proposal to Mac for a bigger job in Kuala Lumpur on New Year's Eve right before Y2K. While planning this scheme, the two develop chemistry between them, and the audience is left wondering if their relationship will stay strictly professional.
