| Overview
The McCarthys are a close working-class family in Boston whose local sports legacy traditions run deep. The Irish-Catholic family all live in the same three-story home, until one family member decides to branch out on his own. More family chaos ensues when Arthur, the outspoken father and high school basketball coach, names his son Ronny as his new assistant, despite that Ronny is athletically challenged and openly gay. The rest of the family, who share their dad's passion for sports, are jealous and confused by this choice. |
