Overview
An enigmatic vagrant, Camiel Borgman, is nearly murdered and helps others escape before the criminals could spot them. He quickly leaves and believes he finds his refuge in a wealthy neighborhood. He approaches a family in the area to ask to shower in their home. Camiel tells the man he speaks to, Richard, that he is a friend of Richard's wife Marina. Richard physically attacks him, refusing him entrance in the home. Marina, however, sympathizes with Camiel's plight, allowing him to stay in the house as long as her husband does not become aware of their plan. As Camiel and Marina continue to plot ways to keep him there, it becomes evident that the actions are all fragments of a greater scheme on Camiel's part.
