Overview
After giving an important interview, playwright Siddalee Walker's life is turned upside down when her larger-than-life mother Viviane is mortally offended by the criticism of her in the article. With a little interference from the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, her mother's three lifelong friends, Sidalee returns to her native Louisiana still unwilling to mend family fences. The Ya-Yas reveal the tragic secrets in Viviane's past, hoping to reconcile the pair. As Siddalee realizes that she never truly knew her mother, she begins to wonder if she should forgive her after all.
