Overview
Abbey and her live-in boyfriend Dermot find out that they are expecting a baby. Dermot´s reluctance to put down roots and begin a family urges Abbey to leave Ireland and return to her native Montreal. In dealing with her dysfunctional father, she is forced to confront her past while deciding what to do about her future and the baby she is expecting. At the same time, Dermot faces his own past traumas as he reflects on his own reluctance to begin a family with Abbey.
