Overview
Die Hard 2 marks the return of John McClane, a police officer who has the great misfortune of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. In similar fashion to the first movie, he finds himself caught up in the middle of a royal mess at Washington Dulles International Airport. John's awaiting his wife's incoming plane when he spots men in military dress. They appear to be up to no good. A confrontation follows and an argument with security, but no one listens to John. Meanwhile, one Colonel Stuart is organizing a rescue effort for General Ramon Esperanza, a South American dictator on his way into the US for illegal drug-related charges. From that point, war will ensue with John McClane leading the offense.
