Overview
Nearing the end of a six month mission to Mars, eight astronaut researchers find themselves in unexpected, deadly peril. When scientist Marco Petrovic realizes from his soil samples that he may have found evidence of life, he heads out to the surface one last time, keeping his potential discovery hidden. When he falls into a pit, some of the other astronauts must go down inside the crevice to find him. Eventually, the rest of the crew realizes there is life on the planet. They find out the hard way, after discovering that both Marco and Dalby, who went to find him, have been infected by Martian microbes that have turned them into aggressive zombie creatures. Can the rest of the crew survive and escape infection?
