Overview
Mariah Mundi is a typical 17-year-old, at least she thinks she is. But her life is about to take a very strange and frightening turn. Her parents vanish and someone kidnaps her younger brother. She is left to fend for herself and try to work out the mystery of what happened to them, and she finds herself swept up in an ancient mystery. Mariah's investigation leads her to the Prince Regent Hotel, an elegant but incredibly dark place that holds many secrets. There, she must venture into a hidden underworld of abducted children and creepy magic as she seeks an object that is capable of making its owner fabulously wealthy and alarmingly powerful. In the wrong hands, it could wreak devastation upon the whole world.
