Overview
Will Hayes is a political consultant living in Manhattan who is in the midst of divorcing his wife. Naturally, his young daughter Maya is troubled by these events, and she compels him to tell her everything about his romantic history to help her understand why this is happening. Will decides to indulge her, but he keeps the identities of his three most prominent love interests secret so that she will not know which is her mom. Will is also very intent on keeping the story as child-appropriate as possible, but he has a bad habit of revealing more than he intends to, much to his savvy daughter's amusement. When the story ends, she is eager to see him try to reunite with his former love.
