Overview
Set in the diverse and challenging city of Chicago, Chicago Fire focuses on the heroes who battle killer fires in the dangerous conditions of Chicago skyscrapers and close-knit neighborhoods. The show focuses on two teams within Firehouse 51, the Truck Squad and the Rescue Squad. Always at odds due to personality differences and a desire for higher status, the teams come together when danger calls them to the streets. When one of their own is killed in action, the leader of Truck Squad, Matthew Casey, and Rescue Squad leader Kelly Severide, butt heads in finding blame to alleviate the guilt both feel. Within each team boil personal conflicts, relationships built and torn apart, and the overall challenge of daily battles with Chicago's wildest and most dangerous fires.
