Overview
The success of CSI: Miami inspired this spinoff of the acclaimed and popular police procedural series, set in the Big Apple. Under former Marine Corps officer Mac Taylor, the New York City forensic squad investigates murder scenes, tracks down perpetrators, and pursues justice and closure for the victims and their families. The diverse and capable CSI team finds frequently itself at odds with the crime lab team, while dealing with a set of complex personal issues that constantly challenge their work, their friendships and sometimes their sanity.
