Ravens Fair is a quiet town with a dark past. Mary Shaw was a popular ventriloquist with a vast collection of handmade puppets that she considered her children. However, Mary’s career came to an unexpected end when she was accused of kidnapping a young boy who taunted her at one of her shows. The townsfolk exacted revenge by cutting out her tongue, killing her, and burying her with her “children”. The people of Ravens Fair thought they had silenced her forever, but she would be immortalized in local ghost stories. Decades later, Jamie and Lisa Ashen receive an anonymous package containing a doll named Billy. Shortly after, Jamie finds Lisa brutally murdered and becomes convinced that Mary Shaw is somehow involved. Unfortunately, the police think otherwise. When Jamie is named the prime suspect in the case, he must return to Ravens Fair and dig deeper into the story of Mary Shaw to clear his name.
