Trailer | Overview An overweight, arrogant lawyer named Billy Halleck defends criminals and crime bosses almost exclusively. He lives with his wife and daughter in an upper-class home. While driving one night, his wife is performing oral sex on him, which distracts him. He hits a woman with his car. She's an elderly gypsy woman associated with the traveling carnival in town. The town doesn't like the gypsies, and Suzanne Lempke's death is ruled accidental. No charges were brought against Billy for the woman's death. Suzanne's 108 year-old father, Tadzu Lempke curses Halleck who starts to lose weight. Billy goes from being morbidly obese to frighteningly thin. The judge and police chief who helped Billy avoid charges are also cursed in other ways by the old gypsy for their part in the lack of justice for his daughter's death. Billy must figure out how to convince the old gypsy to remove the curse before he loses so much weight that he dies. |
