Overview
Will McAvoy is a top-notch television anchor for the evening news. He strives for a bias-free news report, but only finds that corporate promises and sponsors abound with red tape and limitations. After having a particularly damaging tirade at a local college, McAvoy returns to work facing a new newsroom. His staff has been replaced, along with a new executive producer calling the shots. MacKenzie McHale, a talented television producer, must brush aside her relationship history with McAvoy to create a news report worth watching. As world events unfold, the newsroom team clamors for stories and first-hand accounts for a truly bias-free report. With sparks flying within the newsroom, reflecting the volatile international news scene, McAvoy must lead his team through difficult times with quality journalism as the core principle.
