Overview
Rudy Donatello makes his living as a drag performer in the gay clubs in and around his area. While he is performing one night, he becomes acquainted with district attorney Paul Fliger, who reveals that he is gay. The two strike up a relationship that soon leads to them living together. As they returned to their apartment one night, they find Marco in their building. Marco is a 14-year-old boy with Downs Syndrome who was abandoned by his mother. The two men decide that they want to give Marco a home and adopt him, but they will first have to get through the uphill battle of wading through a court system that does not look kindly on gay couples adopting special needs children.
