The Wyrick family purchases a Georgian countryside property, but the price might be too good to be true. Lisa, a medium that medicates to avoid the dead, and her husband Andy move their daughter Heidi, who shares her mother's gift, to their new home. A short while later, Joyce, Lisa's carefree and adventurous sister, asks to stay in a trailer on the newly purchased property. Heidi starts a friendship with Mr. Gordy. Her parents think that he is just a figment of Heidi's imagination until Joyce finds out that he was a previous owner of the property until he died 20 years earlier. Along with this information, the family also unveils another former owner that protected slaves in the 1800s and discovers that an evil spirit resides with them. Mr. Gordy appears to be right when he tells Heidi that the family is in danger. |
