Overview
Walter Keane is a famous artist who gains recognition for his mass production of prints featuring children with big eyes. However, the true artist is Walter's wife, Margaret Keane. Walter places his signature on his wife's paintings and sells the prints for a very low price. His scheme eventually ruins his marriage, and Margaret comes forward to claim her work. A heated legal battle carries the divorce proceedings to federal court, where shy Margaret Keane challenges her husband to paint the children with big eyes.
