Bill Dancer is a homeless man who makes a living by conning people. He's not a bad person, but this is the only way he can think of to get enough to eat, and he's quite good at it. Of course, it helps that he has a secret weapon in the form of Curly Sue. She's grown up on the streets and is just as savvy as any adult, but she's only a small child. One day, Bill convinces a rich woman named Grey that she injured him with her car. He only hopes for a small settlement, but she insists on taking the pair home for the night. Bill begins to suspect that Sue would be better off staying with Grey and her fiance. |
